2025 Mountain Biking Program for Kids in Kelowna 

Cyclepath Kelowna introduced the Sprockids program to Kelowna in the Spring of 2015 with great success.

We are thrilled to continue this coached kids mountain biking program in 2025, and we're hoping it will be bigger and better than years' prior!

Start Date: Wed. April 30, 2025
End Date: Wed. June 18, 2025                        
Duration: 8 weeks
Time: 6:00 to 7:30 PM
Cost: $95
Ages: Boy & Girls ages 7 to 13( with some exceptions for 6 year olds)
Location: Mission Creek Park, Springfield Road
Registration: Open now in store at Cyclepath, 2169 Springfield Road.

What is Sprockids?

Sprockids is an instructional program designed to engage young people, ages 7 to 13 years, in mountain biking. Cycling provides a positive focus for youth, develops self-esteem, provides kids with a strong sense of community, and introduces them to a healthy active lifestyle. The program teaches off-road skills through drills, games, and fun activities; while tracking individual progress.

Sprockids leaves no kid on the sidelines, cyclists of all abilities are celebrated and invited to participate. 

Sprockids was founded almost 3 decades ago in Canada by elementary educator Doug Detwiller; and now operates in 19 countries. Giant Bicycle and Liv Cycling are delighted to be associated with Doug and Sprockids.
