Experienced Bicycle Mechanic - Full Time

Cyclepath Kelowna is actively looking for an Experienced Bicycle Mechanic

About Us

We're a locally-owned and operated full-service year-round bike store in Kelowna BC. We have recently expanded our store to include a comprehensive bike servicing and bike assembly area. The new designated bike service area is equipped with:

  • Fork and Shock Service WorkStation.
  • Wheel Building Station - with spoke cutting & threading machine.
  • Park Tool Dual Electric E-Bike stand.
  • Electronic work order system and designated computers for mechanics.
  • Individual, fully-stocked bike work stations for mechanics.
  • Indoor stainless bike wash station.
  • Bio Parts Washer.

About You

We're looking for an experienced mechanic. We'd love to hear from you if you:

  • have a minimum of 5 years experience as a bike mechanic in a bike shop,
  • completed a certification/training as a bicycle mechanic (preferred),
  • are a passionate bicycle mechanic looking to further your career,
  • believe in providing exceptional customer service with your quality work and positive attitude, and
  • want to work in a supportive and fun team environment.


We're looking for a mechanic with:

  • Strong repair experience with a variety of bicycles and mid-drive e-bikes.
  • Experience in writing work orders, including advising on required parts and timelines.
  • Knowledge of the latest bike equipment and technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in wheel building and shock overhauls an asset.


Our ideal mechanic will also:

  • Demonstrate organization and time management skills.
  • Show strong communication skills.
  • Be willing to assist other mechanics with more technical jobs.
  • Check the quality of bike builds by assemblers and provide constructive and positive feedback.
  • Work closely with other senior team members to make suggestions for changes and improvements to the service area, where required.
  • Assemble bikes when required.

This is a full-time (5 days/week) position. We are open 9:30am - 5:30pm Monday through Saturday, closed Sundays, year-round. Part-time or flexible hours would be considered for the right applicant with significant experience.

Experienced Retail Salesperson

If you are an enthusiastic salesperson with a track record of providing exceptional customer service, please contact us. 

We are actively recruiting an enthusiastic full-time salesperson and a part-time, seasonal salesperson with a combination of the following skills:

  • Retail sales experience in a bike shop (preferred) or sales experience and a strong passion for bikes .
  • Knowledge of the latest mountain, road, commuter and e-bikes.
  • Passion for cycling.
  • Thrives in a busy environment.
  • Organization and time management skills.
  • Good communication skills (oral and written).
  • Customer service experience.
  • Experience using a point of sale system.

Work hours:

5 days per week between Monday and Saturday. Sundays and one other day off per week, TBD.
