BMX Bikes

The BMX bike is a single speed, smaller framed bicycle typically with a 20 inch wheel.

There are two main types of BMX bikes:

  • Street or Freestyle: used for doing “tricks” such as jumping, 180/360 degree turns and various types of spins and jumps and grinds. Also used on ramps (i.e. half pipes, quarter pipes, box jumps), and in skate parks.
  • Racing: used for racing on a short, dirt motocross track consisting of jumps and tight banked turns. Races are typically 3 motos lasting from 30 to 60 seconds with up to 8 riders per moto.
